Who I am:

Hi, I'm Ela, a producer and distributor specialized in animated film based in Germany.
I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Audiovisual Communication and my Master's Degree in Animation Film
from the National University of Drama and Film „I.L. Caragiale” in Bucharest, Romania.
My work history varies from organising film festivals to writing about animation, to making and distributing short animated films.
When I relocated to Germany, I decided to study Animation/Effects Producing at the Animationsinstitut of the prestigious film school Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg.
Since my graduation in 2019, I have been working as a freelance producer and distributor with local, kinderd-sipirited companies and filmmakers.

What I do:

Animation Production

I have hands-on experince with the stages of producing an animated film, project and team management, communication tools and everything involved in the process of making an animated film.

Festival Distribution Strategy

I have extensive knowledge about short film festival distribution and submission strategies.

Festival Submission Service

I have been actively submitting films to festivals since 2013 and take on a few films per year that I lovingly support on their journey through the festival circuit.

Finding out what kind of funding is suitable for your film can be a hassle. I am knowledgeable about the German Film Funding system and can help find your way through the paperwork.
